Anuradhapura

 
Anuradhapura is a revered city within Sri Lanka’s Cultural Triangle, holding immense historical and religious significance. It is also a place of religious importance, housing the venerated Temple of the Tooth Relic, which enshrines the tooth relic of the Buddha. You can witness the traditional Kandy Perahara, which is a procession with dancers, drummers and elephants that parade through the streets of Kandy, with the lead elephant having the important task of carrying the tooth relic on its back.
